2013 Morey St Denis

The 2013 Morey Saint Denis Village has a fine precision on the nose, a little more focus than the Chambolle-Musigny with blackberry pastilles and violet. The palate is fresh and lively on the entry with a pleasant saline seam that runs from start to finish. My slight quibble is that it needs a little more length, but otherwise this is a decent village cru with plenty of charm.
