Tasting notes
The 2014 Chambertin is a wine that conquers all the senses. Sensual, silky and expansive in all of its dimensions, the Chambertin offers a striking expression of fruit, with soaring floral and savory notes that add lift, all with an underpinning of tannins that are pretty much buried by the sheer intensity of the fruit. Above all else, Chambertin fruit and pure texture rule the day.

The 2014 Chambertin Grand Cru has a backward nose, much more so than the Latricières at the moment, though one can tell that is very well defined and full of tension. The palate is structured right from the entry, arching tannins here, beautifully focused with perfect acidity, gently flowing towards a very poised and tender finish that has so much tension. This is a regal Chambertin.
