Score 87-89/100 · Drink 2017-2025, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jan 2017

The 2015 Marsannay Les Longeroies is one of the most distinctive wines in the range. It is also a bit rustic and wild today, with an expression of game, dark fruit and smoke that is almost Syrah-like. The inclusion of 40% stems accentuates the pungent aromas and flavors. There is certainly no lack of personality here. - Antonio Galloni

The 2015 Marsannay les Longeroies has a clean and pure bouquet with subtle rose petal scents infusing the blueberry and raspberry fruit, offering the roundness you want from this vineyard. The 40% whole cluster fruit lends backbone to the palate and counterbalances the richness here, to the extent that the finish feels pleasingly focused and mineral driven. This is very fine.
