(made from five parcels): Good full red. Expressive aromas of redcurrant, licorice and leather lifted by a minty high note. Somewhat sauvage red berry, red cherry liqueur and leather flavors are given a juicy character by notes of spices and flowers. Finishes slightly salty and dry-edged--a bit wild for me.
(from Brochon). A restrained, cool and layered nose offers a bit more complexity with its pretty array of red currant, earth and herbal tea scents.
