Tasting notes
The 2016 Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough has a nose of fresh grass, bell peppers and pea pods over a core of grapefruit, green apples and lime zest. The light to medium-bodied palate is just a little lean in the middle, with appealingly youthful vitality, but it just doesn't have its typical intensity and persistence.

RS 1.7 g/l. Grapefruit, citrus and tastes bone dry. A bit lean overall. Not sure it is worth the premium though it is more persistent than some. (JH)
Really striking aromatics. Unmistakable passion fruit and lime citrus with subtle grassy and herbal complexity. The bold, flamboyant fruit is what takes center stage here. There's a fleshy, succulent feel to the palate. Acidity keeps it vibrant and the flavors hold fresh and lively. As appealing as ever. Drink now. Oct 2016, www.jamessuckling.com
