Tasting notes
The 2015 Pündericher Marienburg Riesling Kabinett offers a ripe, sweet and flinty bouquet. Picked in the beginning of October, the 2015 reveals stunningly racy acidity and a stimulatingly salty finish. "We have never picked more Kabinett wines than in 2015," Clemens Busch says. The 2015 contains 66 grams of residual sugar and 11.2 grams per liter of total acidity.

Organic since 1984, biodynamic since 2005. They belong to a Respect group (like-minded growers) which started in Austria. 65- to 70-year old vines – not in Mittel Mosel nor Terrassen Mosel. Always spontaneous fermentation and with very long lees contact – up to 12 months. Ready for bottling but a cask sample. Not as wild on the nose as some earlier vintages. Lots of excitement. Very throbbing. (JR)

This offers a beautiful nose of candied grapefruit, herbs and spices. The wine is beautifully zesty and animating on the palate and leaves a superb feel of passion fruit, grapefruit and fresh herbs in the mouth-watering finish. Sep 2016, www.moselfinewines.com, Drink: 2023-2035
