Tasting notes
Full medium red. Musky aromas of red berries and smoke. Supple, dense and deep, showing serious medicinal reserve and freshness to the redcurrant, pepper and earth flavors. Boasts excellent breadth and a restrained sweetness, finishing with substantial ripe tannins and good grip.

From the Échezeaux side and a bit near Ch de la Tour. Bright crimson. Light to mid crimson. Sweet and jewelly. Firm and dense. Still extremely youthful. (JR)
Open, floral, expressive. A bit of smoky coffee on the finish. Smooth, glossy cherry fruit. (RH)
(from two growers on the Echezeaux side of the cru; 30% vendange entier): Palish red. Aromas of redcurrant, tobacco and earth. Sweet cherry and spice flavors are accented by pepper and herbs from the stems. Good mineral lift gives the wine energy and finesse. Finishes perfumed and long, with subtle spice and stone nuances.
