Tasting notes
Tasted blind at the annual “Burgfest” tasting in Bouilland. The 2013 Montrachet Grand Cru has a very well defined bouquet with impressive mineralité and tension, a subtle oyster shell influence coming through with time. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, lively and vibrant in the mouth with orange zest, mandarin and quite a healthy dash of spice towards the finish. This Montrachet deserves a polite standing ovation. Tasted May 2016.
