2015 Piesporter Goldtropchen Beerenauslese

The golden-yellow 2015 Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling Beerenauslese is one of the extremely rare BAs that Haart produced in the past 20 years (the last release was from vintage 2002!). The wine displays a beautifully clear, ripe and aromatic, as well as piquant and concentrated fruit with slate, grapefruit and very fine raisin aromas. Round, lush and elegant, this is a very fine and aromatic TBA with remarkable finesse, a frisky acidity and an almost crystalline texture. It is not as viscous and dense as the Ohligsberger BA, but highly digestible.
