Tasting notes
The 2014 Château Vrai Canon Bouche is more restrained compared to the 2015 and lacks that vintage’s exuberance and elegance. Notes of ripe currants, smoked earth, charred meats and a hint of oak emerge from this medium-bodied, nicely concentrated 2014. With some rustic tannin, solid overall ripeness, and a charming, mouth filling style, drink it over the coming decade.

The 2014 Vrai Canon Bouche felt rather reduced on the nose and did not possess the charm of its Fronsac peers. The palate is medium-bodied with heavy-handed oak that laden the finish with wood rather than fruit tannins.
The 2014 Vrai Canon Bouché offers lovely depth and silkiness in a medium-bodied style. Bright red stone fruit, dried flowers, game and earthy notes add attractive underpinnings of complexity.
