(375ml) A headily aromatic amalgam of musk melon, mango and white peach sets the stage for a luscious palate performance featuring primary, fresh-fruit juiciness without end. Creamy and glycerol-rich even as it conveys such striking freshness, this finishes with bittersweet toasted pecan accents serving for counterpoint, and lime and grapefruit introducing an unexpectedly bright, downright refreshing aura. The delicacy, lift and sheer persistence are all remarkable.

Very fine, floral honey nose. A super-elegant Auslese with a mineral and minty freshness that beautifully matches the concentration and sweetness. Very long finish of serious sophistication. Drink any time until 2040.
The 2015 Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Gold Capsule is clear, ripe and intense on the nose, yet still reductive, with fine lemon aromas. Round, lush and delicate on the palate, this is a generous Auslese with a long, intense and stimulating piquant finish. Good finesse and elegance here. (375-milliliter bottle)
Not as expressive on the nose as the regular Auslese but massive sweetness and confidence and I'm sure it will delight in the long term. (JR)
