Tasting notes
Really quite rich – one of the bigger 2014s I have tasted! Long and intense. GV (JR)

(20% new oak):Medium red. Musky redcurrant and cherry on the nose. Sappy, spicy and uncompromisingly dry; more about earth and saline minerality than fruit. A solid, soil-driven Marsannay with fine-grained tannins.
The 2014 Marsannay les Longerois, which will be bottled in February, was matured in 20% new oak. It has a very pure and comely bouquet with raspberry preserve and fresh strawberry -- instantly seductive. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, blackberry and raspberry fruit, and it exudes precision on the finish. You will find few Marsannay wines better than this.
