Score 92/100 · Drink 2018-2032, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Nov 2016

Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting in Beaune, the 2013 Nuits Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers has a refined bouquet with undergrowth-infused red berry fruit, a little rustic but charming and expressive. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp red cherry and strawberry fruit, fine tannin and prudent use of oak. There is focus and precision here, decent length and class. This is a top-notch and utterly delightful Nuits Saint-Georges in the making, surpassing my estimation in barrel. Tasted September 2016.

Clean, bright red berry fruit. Some floral character and a flinty, smoky edge to the palate. Smooth, pasty texture on the palate. Delicious, satisfying. (RH)

Bright, deep red. Higher-pitched and more pungent than the Roncières, with lovely stony lift to the raspberry and pomegrante aromas. Juicy, tight and youthfully clenched; a distinctly vertical style of wine with terrific energy and definition to its crunchy pomegranate and cranberry flavors. A compact premier cru from clay-rich soil.
