Score 90-93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2008
(one-third each Corbeaux, Fonteny and Perriere) Bright, dark red. Sexy aromas of blackberry and gibier Dense and intensely flavored but at the same time quite suave and elegant, with lovely ripe acidity framing the flavors of blackberry, minerals and violet. Here the tannins are sweet and nicely integrated, with no sign of dryness. Very stylish, fresh wine, and an excellent example of the vintage. Hint of menthol on the back.
