Score 85-88/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2006
Good medium red. Musky, reduced nose dominated by strawberry. Fat and round but with a slight sweet/sour quality due to a bit of remaining malic acidity. Slightly medicinal cherry flavor is joined by a leathery nuance on the finish.
