Tasting notes
The 2009 Meursault is similarly rich and tropical, but also comes across as quite young next to the 2002, which is an ever-present reminder of how these wines can age. Although the 2009 is gorgeous, if I owned it, I would try to give it more time in bottle.

(from Narvaux): Vibrant aroma of orange oil. Sweet, opulent and very ripe but with terrific verve to the soft citrus flavors. Superb village Meursault with lovely minerality giving grip to the long, fresh finish.
The 2009 Meursault (Narvaux) is surprisingly rich, round and creamy for a young wine from this estate, even at the villages level. Layers of juicy yellow stone fruits caress the palate through to the enveloping finish.
