Tasting notes
Bright ruby-red. Reserved nose hints at black raspberry, chocolate and minerals. Sweet and lush in the mouth, yet also fresher and more minerally at present than the Beaumonts , which makes no sense as this site faces full south. This boasts terrific depth of flavor and early personality. Finishes very long, with suave, noble tannins.

Cask sample. Quite opulent, almost exotic, fruit. Extremely sweet palate entry, then extremely severe tannins. This will be a bottle worth watching. (JR)
