(domain bottling): Good full red. Complex, scented nose offers medicinal red cherry, licorice, menthol, flowers and Asian spices. Supple and very ripe but at the same time quite taut, with lovely inner-mouth perfume and a light touch to the flavors of dark berry preserves and spices. Densely packed but not at all heavy, finishing with suave tannins and lingering minerality. Very young today.

Spicy dark cherry. Hint of something like cumin? Smooth, rounded, and a nice mix of savoury and fresh on the finish. (JH)

Deep red. Reticent aromas of black cherry and licorice. Quite ripe yet delicate on the palate, with good backbone to the juicy flavors of blackberry, herbs, spices and flowers. Suave and nicely delineated but not particularly expressive today. No shortage of energy here, but this will also need patience.
