(15% natural alcohol; a 50/50 blend of Morey and Chambolle fruit, with the average age of the vines close to 90 years, according to Laurent) Ruby-red. Full-blown aromas of black raspberry, mocha, smoke and earth. Fat, sweet and opulent, with strong earth tones. Appears to want for a bit more grip and thrust, but finishes with some power and considerable length. Perhaps a tad dry on the aftertaste. Very tricky to taste today.
