Tasting notes
Pale, bright yellow. Lemon, gooseberry, green pepper, caraway seed and a hint of asparagus on the nose. Then round, silky and horizontal, with mouthfilling flavors of green tropical fruits and fresh herbs. Not the most intense vintage for this bottling but supple and alive. Finishes with very good length and lift.

RS 3.5 g/l. Good purity without being overstated. Soft, well crafted and pure – but no better than many others. Looking at the jr.com database for scores of this wine over recent vintages, there is a definite downward trend, I'm afraid – especially since Kevin Judd left. (RH)
The 2012 Sauvignon Blanc opens with intense grapefruit, passion fruit and green mango notes and touches of pineapple and fresh sage. Medium-bodied with a fair amount of viscosity to the texture, it has lively acid and a long finish. Drinking well now, it should keep to 2014+. Imported by Moet Hennessy USA, New York, NY
