Good bright light yellow. Tight, high-pitched nose offers notes of pear, apple, minerals, nutmeg and menthol; this smells juicy! Densely packed and very intense, with enticing floral lift to the stone fruit, citrus oil and mineral flavors. Lovely creamy texture and subtle depth here. Finishes long and classically dry, with a captivating note of fresh peach and terrific verve. A clear step up in density and intensity from the Champ Gain. A terrific candidate for cellaring.

Bright, green-tinged yellow. Very pure, high-pitched aromas of minerals, lavender, violet, nutmeg and menthol. Juicy, saline and precise, with terrific cut to the flavors of citrus oil, dusty stone and brown spices. A very classy Folatieres in the making. Finishes piquant, dusty and very long.

A beautifully complex, cool and elegant nose of acacia blossom, white orchard fruit and plenty of wet stone nuances complements the equally stony, intense and ultra-pure medium weight flavors that possess outstanding detail and verve. I very much like the balance and refinement and this should be accessible young as there is fine mid-palate concentration and plenty of extract which imparts a fleshy mouth feel.
