Score 16.5/20 · Drink 2012-2015, Jancis Robinson MW, Jul 2013
Deep crimson. Sweet, rich liqueur-like fruit dominates this wine which is far from subtle. In your face; it reminds me more of Russian River Valley than Burgundy. (JR)

Medium deep ruby-purple in color, the 2009 Liaison Pinot Noir offers redolent aromas of cherries, mulberries and black raspberries with earth and clove hints. Medium to full-bodied with abundant ripe red berry flavors, it has balanced acidity, low to medium levels of velvety tannins, and a long, earthy / savory finish. Drink it now to 2015.
