Score 91/100 · Drink 2012-2023, Jay S Miller, Wine Advocate, Apr 2009

The 2006 Mingre is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Carmenere, and Syrah aged for 14 months in French oak. The complex aromatic array of smoke, cigar box, violets, blueberry, and blackberry is enticing. It leads to an elegant, spicy, intense wine with savory black fruit flavors, excellent depth, and a lengthy finish. It will benefit from several years of cellaring and drink well from 2012 to 2023. Importer: No American importer.

Cabernet Sauvignon 37%, Carmenère 21%, Malbec 21%, Syrah 21% Indistinct nose. Round and very fruity. 14 months in French oak. Pretty ambitious! Neat and all well integrated. Dense. Still chewy. UK importer: H&H Bancroft , RRP £18 (JR)
