2011 Echezeaux

Here the nose displays the same odd element as does the Charmes and again, it's not a flaw so much as atypical. The very round and naturally sweet medium-bodied flavors possess a velvety texture as well as fine depth on the firm, masculine and solidly persistent finish. As with the Charmes, my range offers the benefit of the doubt that the curious nose is a passing phase. Tasted: Apr 15, 2013. Drink: 2021+
