Tasting notes
The 2010 Gevrey-Chambertin is weightless, elegant and totally refined. It reveals striking purity in its sweet red berries, mint, spices and flowers, with fabulous intensity and balance at the villages level. This is an impressive wine from Eric Rousseau and his team. I loved it.

Good full red. Ripe, pure aromas of raspberry, coffee and mocha. Creamy-sweet, but with slightly disjointed acidity. Plenty of smoky minerality here. These were the first vines picked, on September 22.
Always such a contrast between the wines of Dugat-Py and the relaxed style of Rousseau! Pale-ish. Round and fresh and very lively with acidity but not excessive. (JR)
