Score 89-90/100 · Drink 2001-2009, Pierre Rovani, Jun 2001
The medium to dark ruby-colored 1999 Nuits-St.-Georges Les Bousselots offers blackberry and stone aromas. Medium-bodied and boasting an enormously appealing, satiny texture, this candied cherry-crammed wine is supple, sweet, and luscious. Loads of fine, beautifully ripened tannin can be discerned in its impressively long finish. Drink it over the next 7-8 years. Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA; tel. (510) 524-1524.

Fruit-driven aromas of cherry and raspberry, along with a mineral nuance. Supple, moderately concentrated red fruit and oak flavors. A bit woody on the gentle finish.
