Score 91+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Medium red. Aromas of raspberry liqueur and roasted cherry, plus a hint of celery seed. Rich and powerful but classy; subtler than the '99. This is cool in the mouth but fleshy and superconcentrated. Impressively long, fine finish features very smooth tannins. Highly distinctive wine.
