Picked between 23rd until 28th September, a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, this has a slightly smudged nose that for me, just lacks the clarity and joie-de-vivre of the Saintayme. Touches of sloe and mulberry inflecting the fruit profile. The palate is full-bodied with rounded tannins, very plump with mulberry and black plum notes, a touch of dried herbs, forward and generous on the finish. Fine

Thick and a bit harsh. Very dry end. Drying finish.
