Tasting notes
The 2010 Auxey-Duresses has a very fine, stony bouquet with a touch of smoke and dried yellow flowers. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry and displays commendable weight for a village cru, with hints of dried honey, spice and orange scents propelling the powerful finish. This is very fine. Drink now-2017. Importer: No known American importer.

Very racy and lively and his biggest white production (6,000 bottles). All on the edge of Meursault, facing east southeast. Tonic. Pure and sleek. Tension. (JR)
Leroux's 2010 Auxey-Duresses sparkles on the palate with crystalline fruit. Floral, mineral notes add complexity to this beautifully nuanced, precise entry-level white. This is a delicious wine from one of Burgundy's lesser-known appellations.
Bottled three weeks ago. Rather hard and appley on the nose. Good richness on the palate. May get there in the end. (JR)
