Tasting notes
Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2011 Pinot Noir possesses a nose of mulberries, black raspberries and kirsch accented by underlying hints of cardamom, forest floor and moss. Medium to full-bodied, it has a good concentration of red and blackberry flavors with a pleasant earthy edge and is framed by medium level, grainy tannins and vibrant acid through the finish with good length. Drink it now to 2017+. Imported by Moet Hennessy USA, New York, NY

Very juicy red fruit – cherry, strawberry. Unmistakably Marlborough, in that it is fruit dominant. Doesn’t deliver enormous complexity though. You can get very similar satisfaction from much cheaper brands, I’m afraid. (RH)
Dullish red. Strawberry liqueur, smoke, flint and earth on the nose. Good depth and texture to the lightly saline flavors of strawberry, raspberry, smoke and gunflint. Nicely chewy pinot with easygoing tannins.
