Tasting notes
Palish medium red. Very ripe but lively aromas of black cherry, red berries and wild mint. Surprisingly sweet, smooth and dense but with excellent lift as well. This tactile, chewy wine boasts very good energy for the vintage. Finishes with smooth tannins and enticing lingering perfume.

Good deep red-ruby. Black cherry, menthol, licorice, mint and a whiff of game on the nose. Then bright and nervy in the mouth, with enticing floral lift to the black cherry and licorice flavors. Not a particularly creamy or fleshy style but suave, intense and light on its feet. Really dusts the palate with flavor on the very long aftertaste. An elegantly styled Gevrey that shows the cooling influence of the Combe de Lavaut.
