Tangy aromas of of orange marmalade, pineapple and acacia flower. Spicy, high-toned and penetrating, with an exotic soft citrus flavor leavened by cutting minerality. A wine of outstanding tension, this grand cru coats the palate with dusty stone.

A discreet application of wood frames the ultra-pure, cool and airy aromas of white flowers, citrus, spice, green tea and Granny Smith apples. There is super intensity to the beautifully well-delineated and powerful medium-bodied flavors that brim with palate coating dry extract, all wrapped in a gorgeously persistent, balanced, very dry and impeccably well-balanced finish. This should be great in time. Tasted: Jun 11, 2013. Drink: 2021+
