The 2010 Chablis is a pretty, soft wine with lovely balance. Dried pears, apricots and spices all come together nicely on the round finish.

Stone, menthol and a whiff of petrol on the slightly medicinal nose; very Chablis. Then surprisingly fat and rich in the mouth, but with a strong impression of stony austerity for such a big village wine. Plenty of palate presence here.
Pale yellow. Slightly metallic aromas of citrus peel and spearmint. Lemon and mineral flavors show good acid cut and an intriguing saline nuance. Solid, fresh village wine.
About the producer
Although the Bichot family settled in the region in 1350, Albert Bichot was founded in 1831 by Bernard Bichot. Today the producer is one of Burgundy’s most respected, making wines from both its own vineyards and with purchased fruit.
