In magnum. Superb with super fine tannins, dark fruits, truffles and light earth character. So youthful and harmonious. The 1997 Brunellos – if stored properly – are still eye-openers.

The dark ruby 1997 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, with a ripe nose of raspberries, tar, and oak spices, is solid, deep, and long on the palate.
