Civil servant of a wine. Decent colour but a bit lifeless. Worthy but not exciting. (JR)

This foursquare, monolithic Pessac-Leognan does not possess much complexity or concentration, but it is medium-bodied, and will provide pleasant drinking over the next 4-5 years.

About the producer

Olivier
Ch. Olivier is one of the few actual castles in Bordeaux – coming with a moat and drawbridge. Since Alexandre de Bethmann took over here in 2012, the château has been given a new lease of life, with quality on the rise.
