Deep, bright red-ruby. Musky aromas of black raspberry, roast coffee and cola. Dense, rich, supple and primary; slightly reduced but this offers real depth of texture and sappy underlying minerality. This should evolve slowly and last well. An impressive showing.

(the yield here was a relatively low 35 hectoliters per hectare) Ruby-red. Ripe aromas of crushed blackberry, minerals and bitter chocolate. Sweet, dense and sappy, with lovely intensity of flavor. Here the spicy oak has already harmonized with the wine's fruit. This very pure, rocky wine is firmly structured and still tightly wound but finishes with a crescendo of flavor.
