Tasting notes
(14+% alcohol) Good deep red. Reticent, pure aromas of dark fruits, minerals and flowers. Superripe, suave and minerally, with a penetrating quality to the flavors of black cherry and currant. Hints at the peppery, herbal quality of the year but finishes very long, with fine tannins. In contrast to the estate's Echezeaux holding, this parcel is in a protected, very warm spot.

(22 hectoliters per hectare produced) Ruby-red but less deep than the Clos Vougeot and Echezeaux. Cooler, nuanced nose hints at violet, minerals, coffee and underbrush. Sweet, pliant and vibrant, with a silky texture and complex soil tones. This, too, shows excellent intensity. A bit youthfully medicinal on the end, finishing with firm tannins and lively acidity.
