This 2002 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru tasted wonderful back in 2008 and it continues to drink beautifully. It has superb delineation on the nose with vibrant red berry fruit, briary and cold stones – the mineralite heightened with time. The palate is poised, leafy and fresh, an elegant and rather understated Pinot Noir that is full of personality and charm. Lovely. Tasted November 2013. Apr 2014, www.robertparker.com
