Tasting notes
Good deep red. Wonderfully complex, scented nose combines black cherry, rose petal, smoked meat, coffee and underbrush; a real essence of the village. Then densely packed and sweet, with beautifully integrated acidity and floral lift giving this silky wine a very suave impression. A tactile, peppery quality gives added lift to the wonderfully rich, long finish. This will gain in complexity with aging and should be stunning.

Bright, deep red. Complex, inviting aromas of red cherry, minerals, coffee, grilled meat, rose petal and roasted oak. Ripe, supple and quite subtle, with harmonious acids leavening the wine's sweetness. Quite juicy and taut today, but spreads out insidiously to coat the entire palate. Very long and sappy on the aftertaste.
