Medium ruby-red. Sweeter aromas of black cherry, redcurrant and licorice. Fresh and brisk but also ripe and sweet, with a creamy old-vines texture and a flavor of cherries. A superb young Marsannay with plenty of personality and lovely persistence.

Good medium ruby. Perfumed aromas of blackberry, violet and licorice. Sweet, concentrated and pure, with black fruit, licorice and meat flavors showing excellent precision. Really penetrating wine. Firmly tannic but not dry on the finish. The Roty family green-harvested in these vines in 2002, but not in 2001.
