Score 92/100 · Neal Martin (Vinous)
The 2023 Maranges Clos de la Fussière 1er Cru, which underwent no pigeage this year, has a bright and lively bouquet: it's a little floral in style with black plum and wild raspberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit, rustic in style but I mean that in a good way. Fresh, sapid and quite long, this is a fine Maranges to drink over the next six to eight years.
