The 2025 Peymouton was picked between 10 and 19 September. This has a pretty nose, mainly red fruit, redcurrant and raspberry, with just a very slight vanilla component from the oak. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fine acidity, bright tart red fruit, with a touch of black pepper and orange rind on the finish. This is a fine, quite structured Saint-Émilion that deserves two or three years in bottle.

Sporting a deep purple hue, the 2025 Château Peymouton is a classy Saint-Émilion based on 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc that's being raised partly in barrels. It has solid aromatics of ripe black cherry and red plum fruits intermixed with savory violet and spicy nuances, and on the palate, it's medium-bodied and balanced, with ripe tannins and a good finish.
The 2025 Peymouton is a bold, juicy wine that shows all the natural richness of the year. Sumptuous blue/purplish fruit, lavender, cloves and licorice are pushed forward. This dense, open-knit Saint-Émilion has a lot to offer, with a boisterous personality that will be very easy to enjoy on release.
Exhibiting aromas of sweet cherries, berries and plums, the 2025 Peymouton is medium-bodied, bright and lively, with powdery, youthfully structuring tannins.
