Tasting notes
The 2025 Moulin Haut-Laroque has a pleasant nose of brambly red berry fruit mixed with iodine and inkwell aromas, though I would have liked more delineation. The palate is sweet on the entry with candied red fruit, although it needed more grip and tension towards the finish. Not bad, however, and it does have a tenderness on the finish that I appreciate.

Plenty of ripe black and red fruits, tons of graphite, melted crayon, and nicely integrated oak all emerge from the 2025 Château Moulin Haut-Laroque, a solid Fronsac effort that unquestionably offers pleasure. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, has the vintage's focused style, ripe tannins, and outstanding length.
Medium- to full-bodied with volume and chalky tannins. Expressive.
The 2025 Fronsac is redolent of crushed flowers, macerated cherry fruit, cinnamon, new leather and tobacco. This mid-weight, perfumed Fronsac is all charm.
