Tasting notes
The 2025 La Tour de By has a fresh, well-defined bouquet with blackberry, cedar and undergrowth scents. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy, ripe tannins, lovely blackberry and blueberry notes and a harmonious, cohesive finish. What a lovely Tour de By!

Red and black fruits, spicy wood, violets, and graphite all define the 2025 Château La Tour De By, a medium-bodied, fresh, focused, and nicely concentrated Médoc. On the palate, it has ripe tannins and outstanding length, and I suspect it will benefit from just a few years of bottle age and evolve gracefully thereafter.
The 2025 La Tour de By is a hearty, rustic Médoc. It offers up intense red-toned fruit, blood orange, mint, spice, incense and dried herbs. There's good persistence, but also some angularity in the contours that needs to be addressed, hopefully through élevage.
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2025 La Tour de By wafts from the glass with aromas of spices, lead pencil, dark berries and flowers, complemented by discreet oaky notes. Medium- to full-bodied, dense and concentrated, it’s layered and deep, built around youthful yet well-integrated tannins, concluding with a long, perfumed finish.
