Score 16.5/20 · Drink 2024-2032, Jancis Robinson MW, Jun 2024

Full screwcapped bottle 1,267 g. Single-vineyard at 440–490 m first planted 175 years ago and most recently planted 1961 to 2010. Picked 9–24 March after a late start to the season. Smallish crop. Mid 'Dry' (not Medium Dry) on the sweetness scale on the back label. Richer, broader and more developed nose than its Mesh 2023 stablemate. Floral and pleasing on the palate with a certain chewiness on the end still that will presumably dissipate. Tastes a little bit richer than bone dry. Pretty. (JR)

This 2023 Single Vineyard Estate Riesling from Eden Valley is tight, mineral, spicy, super fine and lit up by a mainframe of acidity. It’s exciting to drink; the texture is chalky and fine, and the flavors linger and curl through the finish like wisps of smoke. What a joy. Seriously. Great wine! This was tasted blind as part of the "Value for Money" tasting in September 2023. RRP $26 AUD.
