The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley opens with mentholated freshness as dusty dried strawberries mix with cedary spice and sage. Dark and radiant within, it coats the palate with liquid stone and violet-laced black fruits as fine tannins mount toward the close. A bitter bite of black currant lingers along with a spicy sensation as edgy tannins resonate throughout the brooding finish.
Darkly colored, the barrel sample 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley is tight and still unwinding, the tannins built for considerable aging. All Cabernet, it comes from Seven Hills and Pepper Bridge. Light touches of vanilla and clove accent the graphite, tobacco, and dried herb. Drink 2030-2035.
