Tasting notes
The 2023 Chardonnay Estate Vineyard comes from a vineyard near the winery and the Russian River, planted to around 20 different clonal selections. Matured for 16 months in 30% new French oak, the nose is a siren song of limoncello, lemongrass, white peach and flint. The full-bodied palate has a silky texture and impressively pure, fragrant flavors. Its generosity is balanced by bright acidity, and it has a very long, flint-laced finish. 405 cases were made.

About the producer
Williams Selyem is an iconic Russian River Valley winery best known for its Pinot Noir. Producing restrained yet classically Californian expressions of the heartbreak grape (as well as a host of other wines), the property has gone from pioneer to one of the region’s standard-bearers.
