Tasting notes
Based on 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 4% Petite Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Malbec and aged 18 months in 50% new French oak, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Cru Napa Valley offers darker currants, plums, graphite, scorched earth, and obvious minerality. It's medium to full-bodied, focused, and has the concentrated, elegant, yet structured style of the vintage. Give it 2-3 years and drink over the following 10-15 years. Drink 2027-2040.

The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon CRU St. Helena is the star in this range of appellation wines from Vineyard 29. Sumptuous red cherry fruit, blood orange, pomegranate, mocha, spice and new leather all build in the glass. This flamboyant, juicy Cabernet offers plenty of the Vineyard 29 house style at an approachable price.
