2007 Culler La Palette

A terrific Bordeaux blend from consultant Karen Culler, this Margaux-like offering from a vineyard in the cool Soda Canyon region offers elegant blueberry, black currant and cherry notes intermixed with white chocolate, crushed rock and spring flower garden scents. Medium to full-bodied, nicely textured, pure and dense, it should drink well for 15-20 years. By the way, Karen Culler makes other beautiful wines, but there are fewer than 100 cases of each and they are hard to find.
