The 2012 Puligny-Montrachet Les Combettes is one of the more restrained 1er Crus in the lineup. Smoke, apricot and spice notes are woven together in a Puligny that is all about feminine delicateness and grace. Today, the Combettes is a bit marked by the new oak, but it is quite pretty all the same.
